Security Day San Diego

Wednesday, November 10, 2010

Security Day San Diego is a free full day of security training and discussion, hosted at the UC San Diego campus. This event aims to encourage networking and idea exchange between security-focused technology professionals in the greater San Diego and southern California area with a slight focus on the Higher Ed community. We hope that you'll come to this event, meet people who work in the technology field, and come away with some new contacts. As a second objective, we plan to present relevant, current, and actionable information about the state of security including:

  • How to assess and classify risk
  • Processes and technology to help mitigate risk
  • Real world attacks and analysis of the objective and strategies used
  • Metrics to assess and manage risk

This event will be hosted in a small venue with limited attendance so you will have the opportunity to engage your peers from the San Diego area and interact with the presenters.
